The Present Simple
Present Simple використовується для того, щоб показати простий факт, дії, які часто повторюються та описати речі, які завжди є правдивими.
I eat (початкова форма дієслова to eat) lunch at noon every day (прислівники часто використовуються з теперішнім часом).
She eats (з he, she та it до дієслова додаємо закінчення -ss) lunch at 3pm every day.
Приклади вживання
We drink coffee every morning. – She drinks coffee every morning
We start work at 9am. – He starts work at 11 am.
They leave work at 5pm. – John leaves work at 6pm.
Утворення Present Simple
Напочатку речення повинен стояти предмет, потім дієслово та решта речення:

Закінчення -s та -es

Поширені помилки:
- Коли Present Simple вживається з he / she / it або з іменем якоїсь людини – дієслово завжди буде закінчуватись на –s або –es
He start work at 11pm. → He starts work at 11pm.
- Не потрібно вживати допоміжне дієслово do. Воно використовується тільки для того, щоб утворювати запитання або заперечення.
